Welcome To Dural Sport & Leisure Centre
The premier sports venue in the Hills District, and a place of fun, excitement, competition and community.
But we are much more than just a Sports Centre!
If you or a friend have financial, relationship or personal difficulties or are just finding life tough; we would love to be able to support you with confidential, professional counselling.
If you have a 4WD we have some great activities for you. We go away for weekends or day trips, to explore this wonderful country, having fun, meeting new friends and learning how to drive safely, often over much more difficult terrain than you would ever attempt. Please call me for more details.
Our connections with the Solomon Islands and Kimberley communities continue strongly. We are excited about the progress being made in both of these communities. Positive changes are being seen as a direct result of our involvement. More information about these amazing projects can be found on dedicated pages of our website.
The Summer Futsal competition commences 1 September. We expect to have over 200 teams in this competition playing every day of the week. Our representative club Dural Warriors are holding selection trials early August. Remember you must play mid-week to qualify.
Our Netball competitions continue with very strong support for our ladies daytime, night time, mixed and junior competitions. Our Summer season for all senior competitions commences at the end of August. Junior netball will start Term 4, so register now as places are limited.
European Handball will start April ‘09. There is a lot of local interest in this competition. Please get your friends together and join in. This is a great sport which complements your skills learnt in other sports (football, netball, basketball) very well.
We will have top level coaching and referees available. The Schools Handball competition was a great success with some local teams achieving State Level success. We have various teams training here, including visits by the State and National teams.
I am keen to hear from you for suggestions of new sports or initiatives we could consider here at Dural. If we can improve our service to our players and supporters we will.
