SEMIS & FINALS

Times for Semi Finals and Grand Finals are found by following the same link (above) as for Normal Season matches. Then select the FINALS Tab for your competition. The Semis & Finals for most competitions are played over two weeks (following the last Round) by the teams in the top four ladder positions.

Round 1 (Semi Finals) 1 v 4 and 2 v 3.

Both winners then play Round 2 (Grand Final) the following week. Prizes are awarded to both teams who play the Grand Final.

Split Comps – Pools

There are some exceptions for Competitions with large team numbers that HAVE NOT BEEN SPLIT MID WAY THRU THE SEASON. They may be split into “Pools” for the Semis & Finals. Our aim is to give as many teams as possible, especially juniors, a chance to play in a Finals Series. In this instance teams will be grouped into “Pools” of 4 and will play off within their group.

Round 1

(Semi Finals Pool A) 1 v 4    and     2 v 3

(Semi Finals Pool B)  5 v 8    and     6 v 7

All winners then play Round 2 (Grand Final) the following week in their “Pool”.

Prizes are awarded to all teams in both the Grand Finals.

Eligibility

Players need to be registered to play else are deemed unfinancial. Players must sign on the Team Registration Form prior to play. Players must have signed on a minimum of 5 times to be eligible to play for their team in the Finals Series. This number is displayed in () on the game sheet each week.

Borrowed Players

If a team has 5 or less of their own registered players they can borrow up to 2 (30min game) or 3 (45min game) players provided they are from a lower division and/or younger age competition. A borrowed player can only be used up to 3 times before they must transfer fully to the team. Teams borrowing “illegally” will forfeit their game.
