Juniors Netball

Our Junior netball competition runs for 8yrs through to 15yrs. The current competitions run on Friday afternoons and we hope to offer additional days as court space becomes available.

The number of teams in each competition fluctuates with our biggest in the "off season" when outdoor netball takes a break. Many teams use this time to have a break from the strict rules of graded, outdoor netball and allow the children to play purely for the fun of it. Others use our competition as a time to build skills for the upcoming year.

Whatever the reason, Friday afternoons are a time for many to end the week with a little bit of exercise and a lot of fun.

Our 2008 competition for Juniors will be played on Friday afternoons commencing 5 September.

It will run for 20 weeks finishing mid-March, in time for the new outdoor season of 2009. There will be a break for the Christmas holidays with games ending 19 December and re-commencing 30 January '09.

Registrations closed at the end of August but call the Centre if your team is keen to play.
